Single Oracle Database
Use this guide when users need Oracle as one managed stateful workload on Autonomous.
Recommended deployment mode: Single Database. This provides a simple topology for one Oracle runtime per environment.
Provisioning Flow
Open the Database Workflow
Choose the database deployment path from the Autonomous dashboard.
Select Oracle
Enter version details, admin credentials, storage size, and the target environment.
Provision a Single Instance
Use the standalone topology so Autonomous deploys one Oracle workload with persistent state.
Validate Access
Confirm internal connectivity, storage attachment, and credential delivery after provisioning finishes.

- Missing resource sizing for heavier Oracle workloads
- Weak credential practices
- Application teams using local connection strings instead of platform-provided values
